The  Noah 

  诺亚方舟 (一般现在时水平)  

   The God finds the people on the earth become bad.They have evil in their hearts. So, 

the Lord is very angry. He says, ‘I will take them away from the face of the earth-men and animals and the birds in the air.’   

   But Noah is a good man. The Lord likes him and doesn't want him and his family to die. Noah has three sons. 

   And the God says to Noah, ‘The  earth is dirty, and now I will kill life on the earth. 

Make a big wood boat. There are many rooms in it. It is three hundred meters long, 

fifty meters wide, and thirty meters high. There is a window, a door and three floors. 

    I will send very much water and the life on the earth will be over. But you will  go into 

the boat, with your sons, and your wife, and your sons' wives. 

    And you will take with you into the boat two of every kind of animal, and keep them 

safe. They will be male and female. And take every kind of food with you. '

Noah listens to the God and does all these. 

And the Lord says to Noah, ‘Take everything and go into the boat. After seven days I

 will give rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights. ’                     

Noah goes into the ark boat with everything and everybody. And after the seven days, 

the water comes over all the earth. And rain comes down on the earth for forty days 

and forty nights. There is water everywhere on the earth. 

   And all the mountains are under water. Life on land and in the water goes.

   Only Noah and his family and animals in the boat are safe. 

   And the water is over the earth a hundred and fifty days. 

   And the God remembers Noah, and makes a wind and the water goes.

   After a hundred and fifty days people can see mountains.Then, after forty days, Noah 

sends out a dove.It comes back to the boat. And he stays other seven days; and again he 

sends the dove out of the boat.And the dove comes back at evening, and in its mouth is 

an olive-leaf.So Noah knows the water goes.  

   And after seven days more, he sends the dove out again, but it doesn't come back to 

him.  

    There is no water on the earth and Noah opens the boat and goes out.

And the God says to Noah, ‘Go out of the boat with everybody. Take out animals and 

food.

    The Lord says in his heart, ‘I will not again curse the earth, never again will I kill all

 living things. ’

    The earth goes on, seed time and the harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day 

and night, will not stop.
